First: How to compress files with ZArchiver

As we mentioned in the introduction, ZArchiver is a powerful alternative tool for compressing and extracting compressed files on Android devices. It offers extensive features and support, as we'll see later. To compress files using ZArchiver, download the app using the link at the end of this article and open it. You'll see the main interface. To create a compressed file, click the menu button in the top left corner of the screen, navigate to "Create," and choose whether you want to create a new folder or a new archive.

We'll choose the second option directly without creating a folder. When you click it, you can select the compression format you want, just like with computer software. You can delete the original file after the compression process is finished, choose encryption, set a password for the file, or even choose the compression level. You can also split the archive into multiple folders and more.

Once you've set up the folder as you like, you're ready to archive it, name it, and select the folders you want to archive or compress. Once you're done, click the arrow icon at the top to create a compressed archive.

Before moving on to how to extract compressed files, you can also long-press any folder to compress it directly. You can also use other options like renaming, deleting, sharing, copying, and more.

Second: Extracting files with ZArchiver

Similar to compressing and archiving files, extracting them is very simple. ZArchiver lets you view the contents of a compressed file before decompression, a plus for the app. Let's say you have a compressed file and want to extract its contents. Simply go to the app and select the file from there. Once you click on it, you'll be able to see the following list of options:

  1. View
  2. Extract here
  3. Extract to "file name"
  4. Extract
  5. Test

In detail, the first option allows you to view the files without extracting them. At the same time, it allows you to extract a single file without others. The second option extracts all the contents to the same folder. The third option can extract the contents of the file to a new folder. The "Test" option checks the file for errors.

Third and Final: Downloading ZArchiver and the files it supports

Let's start with the types and formats of files supported by ZArchiver. You might have noticed that it  .Its capabilities are as follows handles formats that the default Android manager doesn't support, and neither do many file

compression and decompression applications:
